Blü consists of some of Boston’s top beauty professionals, including hair, make-up, nail and color specialists with decades of experience. Master colorists Kayla Nowell and Virginia Xigoros complete the color staff with their signature techniques. The cutting staff is seasoned, skilled and very attentive.

Virginia has been a stylist on Newbury St. for over 9 years specializing in textured hairstyles. She had training with Bumble & Bumble, Sebastian, Rusk, and Goldwell and enjoys taking classes to motivate her creativity and bring new ideas into her salon. She creates a style that fits your personality. Her color techniques help you enhance your dramatic or soft look. Another passion of hers is special events, including weddings. She ensures that you will leave looking and feeling your best.
 

Kayla Nowel - Master Colorist

Kayla spent much time as a guest artist for Goldwell. Then she joined the ARTec as a New England educator. In 1993 at Haircolor USA she was presented as an "Up and Coming Haircolor Newsmaker." She has continued her color/cutting training with Redken, Schwarzkofpt, and Bumble & Bumble. Kayla has done numerous editorial work for magazines and an independent film.
